How do I reset my progress?
Open Settings from the home screen, then choose Reset all progress. This permanently deletes your answers, mastery bands and session history on that device and cannot be undone.
Why does my mastery show "not enough data"?
Each area requires a minimum number of answered questions before a band is reported. Until then, the app shows how many further answers are needed rather than estimating a level from only a few questions.
What is included for free?
Free access includes 25 practice questions across NEC3 and NEC4, Quick 10 sessions using the free question set and the reference section. Ongoing Access (£34.99) unlocks the complete audited question bank and all paid features on an ongoing basis. 3-Month Intensive (£16.99) unlocks the same paid features for three months.
Does it renew automatically?
No. Ongoing Access is a single non-consumable purchase. 3-Month Intensive is one payment for three months. Neither option renews automatically.
How do I recover a purchase?
Open Settings and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same App Store or Google Play account used for the original purchase.
Does progress sync between devices?
No. ClauseReady has no user account, so learning progress is held per device. Eligible paid access can be restored using the store account used for the purchase.
Which contract does it cover?
The NEC3 and NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract. You can switch between editions, and the learner-facing questions and reference material follow your selection.
I think a question is wrong.
Please tell us. Include the wording or a screenshot, the answer you expected and your reasoning. A credible accuracy challenge is reviewed before the question is allowed to remain in the release bank.
Can I use it to resolve something on a live project?
ClauseReady is a learning tool, not project-specific advice. Work from the actual contract documents in force, including Contract Data and amendments, and obtain professional advice where appropriate.
Does the app work offline?
The learning content, practice sessions and local progress work offline. An internet connection is required for purchase and restore checks, and release builds may also check Expo for compatible app-content updates when the app launches.
Accessibility
The app uses standard accessibility labels for VoiceOver and TalkBack. If something is difficult to use with assistive technology, please report it so it can be corrected.
