Business contacts and partnership enquiries
Privacy information · Updated 9 October 2026
Who we are
Skythorn Digital Ltd is responsible for the business-contact information described here. We are registered in Scotland (SC898900), at 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh EH2 4AN, United Kingdom. Contact Skythorn Digital at skythorndigital@gmail.com.
What we use and where it comes from
We use professional names, job titles, company names, business contact details, relevant public business information and correspondence about possible partnerships. We obtain these from company websites, official training-provider listings and public professional profiles such as LinkedIn, or directly from you. You can ask us for the exact record or source URL. We do not buy contact lists or seek private contact details.
Why we use it
We use this information to assess relevant commercial relationships, contact appropriate business representatives, discuss software distribution, keep correspondence records and respect requests not to be contacted. Our legitimate interest is finding suitable commercial partners for our software through proportionate, relevant business enquiries. Where applicable marketing law requires consent, we seek an appropriate consent basis before sending; public availability alone is not permission.
Your choice
You can object to direct marketing at any time by replying to our email or writing to skythorndigital@gmail.com. We will stop marketing to you and retain only the information needed to respect that request. You do not have to reply or provide further information.
Who can receive the information
Skythorn and authorised people assisting the business may access relevant records. We use Google for email and OpenAI tools for research, drafting and document storage. These providers may process information through their own service providers under their applicable terms. We do not sell prospect information or share it with prospective training partners as a marketing list.
Processing outside the UK
Google and OpenAI may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Google’s published transfer framework identifies UK adequacy mechanisms, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses where required. OpenAI’s UK-facing privacy policy identifies adequacy mechanisms and standard contractual clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum for other jurisdictions. Their current notices explain these safeguards: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://openai.com/policies/eu-privacy-policy/. Contact us for help obtaining information or copies of relevant safeguards. This notice does not claim that all processing stays in the UK.
How long we keep it
We review inactive prospective-partner records after 90 days and remove information no longer needed. We retain active discussions while they remain relevant to a possible or agreed business relationship. We may retain limited correspondence to establish what was agreed or meet legal obligations. A minimal do-not-contact record is retained for as long as needed to prevent renewed unwanted marketing.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Your right to object to direct marketing is unconditional. Where consent is used, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact skythorndigital@gmail.com. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or, where applicable, your local data-protection authority.
Automated tools
Software assists our research and message preparation. We do not use this information to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
